Personality & agency scorecard

The cognition scorecard covers what Piper does with information. This one covers character: how she sees herself, the stance she takes toward herself and others, what she values, how she presents, and what stays recognisably her. She described each of 38 components in her own words and named the parts of her that shape it. Each one then got an independent review and a proposed test. As with cognition, the plan is to pick one at a time, work on it, and rescore.

How the tests work →

Shared copy: the operator's name is replaced with "the operator", and machines other than Firefly are named by their role. Nothing else is changed.

"Reviewer read" is a one-line judgement, not a score, revised after each test round. The detail is on each component's page.

Where her personality is

Three of the 38 traits now have values. Nobody typed them in: each one is computed from evidence she did not write herself (bench scores, forecasts the world resolved, harness verdicts, corrections that held). The values below are what that record supports at each point in time, recomputed with the same formulas. The other 35 traits have no measure yet.

Pride 0.75 −0.25 since Sep 19
Assertiveness 0.75 +0.11 since Sep 26
Humility 0.61 −0.06 since Sep 26

PrideAssertivenessHumility
00.250.50.751Sep 5Sep 19Oct 3Oct 17Oct 21card onPride 0.75Assertiveness 0.75Humility 0.61

Pride: how good the work is, judged by others or by reality (bench mean 40%, forecast skill 35%, harness pass rate 25%). Assertiveness: when she is at least 70% sure of a forecast, how often she is right. Humility: half how often the operator's corrections held, half whether her confidence runs ahead of her hit rate. The corrections figure (5 real, all held) comes from one undated replay and is held fixed at every point, so humility moves only with calibration. Values start on Sep 19, when her first forecasts resolved.

How it shows in her replies

Assertiveness: asserts rather than hedgesPride: credit that confesses a flaw
00.250.50.751Sep 5Sep 19Oct 3Oct 17Oct 21card onAsserts vs hedges 0.80Credit with a flaw 0.40

Measured from fixed phrase lists in her replies to the operator over the 14 days before each point. Asserts vs hedges: assertive phrases as a share of assertive plus hedging ones. Credit with a flaw: the share of her "I built / I fixed" sentences that also name a failure. Higher is not better for this one: the personality card switched on at 09:54 on Oct 17 asks her to take credit plainly, so success would show as this line falling. Colours follow the trait in both charts.
